Alexis Karl is a filmmaker and multidisciplanary artist living and working in NYC

Karl is a multidisciplanary artist and filmmaker creating films and cinematic installlations for the U.S. State Department, Public film projections on the Manhattan Bridge with Leo Kuelbs Collection, and gallery installations of her hand-constructed, large scale film sets .Her films and live muscial performances  have been featured in festivals and exhibitions around the world, most notably the Whitney Museum of Art, The Guggenheim Museum, Stephen Romano Gallery,  The Museum of Moving Image with Kaufman Center and  The Morbid Anatomy Museum
